Hi, I’m Josh, owner and founder of Appalachian Artscape. Alongside my wife, Kelsie, we’re thrilled to bring a fresh, innovative approach to wall art right here in East Tennessee.

Art and creativity have always been central to my life. Growing up, I watched my mother, a lifelong artist, pour her heart into beautiful murals that transformed homes and community spaces. While I didn’t inherit her artistic talents directly, I developed a deep appreciation for art and an eye for creativity.

My inspiration for Appalachian Artscape came the very first time I encountered a vertical wall printer. Instantly, I recognized its tremendous potential to bring vibrant, personalized art to homes, businesses, schools, and community spaces in a way that’s fast, affordable, and accessible. But when I first shared this vision with my mom, she expressed a concern—could this new technology threaten traditional artists and hand-painted murals?

That conversation sparked a bigger idea: instead of competing with local artists, what if we could empower and elevate them? And that’s how our Artist Gallery was born—a unique online gallery designed specifically to support local artists. Here, artists can showcase high-resolution digital versions of their creations, reach new audiences, and generate additional income. Clients get beautiful, regionally inspired artwork, artists gain a new stream of revenue, and we proudly offer a distinct, community-focused service.
